Things to Think About

The title of this blog is a parody of incredibly racist/sexist/discriminatory individuals who like to label themselves as "deep thinkers".
Because that is hilarious.

[On religion]
You cannot be a feminist and not consider race or ethnicity.

I know there will be many people who will agree with this just as there will be many people who do not.
But there is no “shared woman’s experience”.  People’s race, ethnic group, color, where they live, are all necessary to assessing the different way sexism manifests itself in different places and cultures, and how ethnic stereotypes play into it.
So feminists with white privilege, pay attention and listen to what these people are saying when they speak out (slut Walk, Occupy Movement).
