Things to Think About

The title of this blog is a parody of incredibly racist/sexist/discriminatory individuals who like to label themselves as "deep thinkers".
Because that is hilarious.

You tell someone that they are weak.
They are fragile.
They need protection.

They are not intelligent.
Coddle them.
Teach them to sew instead of fight.
To be silent instead of protest.
Prevent them from acting out by systematically punishing them for doing anything that you didn’t teach…

What I found the most interesting was how this can also be applied pretty much word for word to religion as well. “Everything you are is wrong, you’ll burn without us, only we can help you” and so you build the dependency that’s kept it alive for so long.

Very true.

when atheists celebrate Christmas

lol, when Christians celebrate Christmas, an ancient pagan holiday originally called the Winter Solstice, co-opted by the Catholic Church to coax pagans into joining them despite a complete lack of evidence in the Bible or any of the gnostic writings that Jesus was even born in the winter, let alone on Dec. 25 and specific Biblical instructions against celebrating holidays in general. lol at the modern conception of Christmas which is based mostly on a Charles Dickens novella and a 19th century poem about a folk hero called Saint Nicholas. lol at Christmas decorations which clearly violate one of the ten commandments. And finally, lol at Christians having to deal with the fact that atheists like me benefit from Christmas and there’s not a thing your whiny mouth can do about it. lol!

Just as bad? I think not.

Marginalized people not taking too kindly to people who promote beliefs that have demonized and oppressed them throughout history is pretty standard.

And inb4 “gays are oppressing Christians”.
Sorry, not possible. There is NOTHING that homosexuals as a group could to to Christians that would take away any of the power that religion holds. It’s like saying reverse-racism exists: it simply can’t.
